ilT quotidiano Arena, Lavia at work with the group
The fifth week of pre-season preparation opened with a welcome surprise for Itas Trentino men’s team. As of today, one day earlier than planned, Daniele Lavia is back training with the group at the ilT quotidiano Arena; the Italian spiker returned to Trento on Monday evening and did not want to wait until Wednesday (as originally planned) to be available for Fabio Soli in view of the new season. On 28 August it will be the turn of Jan Kozamernik, Gabriele Laurenzano (already seen in the weight room last week), Alessandro Michieletto, and Riccardo Sbertoli, who just arrived in the city today.
The training period that has just begun will therefore be the first in which the staff will be able to count on almost all of the roster set up in the summer by the management; from Thursday, the only absentee will be spiker Alessandro Bristot, who in recent days has played the first matches of the Under-20 European Championship with the Italian jersey.
The programme drawn up by the technical staff will include a double daily session, similar to today's (weights in the morning, technique in the late afternoon), on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, while on Wednesday the team will work only in the evening. A rest day is scheduled for Saturday, 31 August.
